Born & raised in a small settlement on the planet Iridonia. The young Zabrak showed a natural talent for thievery from an early age & it wasn't long before she became one of the most skilled child thieves around. However, their peaceful life was shattered when the Empire came to Iridonia. Seeing the Zabrak, also known as the Iridonians, as a potential threat, the Empire decided to make an example of them by raiding Xendaya's settlement.
Xendaya barely escaped the attack & fled into the wilderness, where after several days of wandering, she encountered a group of smugglers camped in the area. The smugglers were initially suspicious of her, but she was able to convince them of her skills as a thief. Impressed, they took the girl in & taught her the basics of their craft. Over time, Xendaya proved to be a valuable member of the group. Not only was she a natural with a blaster, she quickly became one of the best pilots in the group, and at some point Xendaya's crew decided to let her own a Porax 38 starfighter and give her the opportunity to fly her own missions.
During the rebellion, Xendaya was repeatedly hired by rebel groups to fly weapons and equipment to various rebel bases. Her services did not come cheap, & the Zabrak had her own methods, but she had never failed a mission before. Xendaya was a loner who liked to withdraw. Reputed to be tough & ruthless, her clients knew they could count on her & were willing to pay the highest price for her services. As the war raged on, Xendaya became one of the most sought-after smugglers in the galaxy. Her reputation grew & many rebels came to rely on the Zabrak's abilities. She had become a big deal & was now on the Empire's hit list. But despite the dangers of her job, Xendaya loved the thrill of smuggling. She knew she was making a difference, & if the pay was right, that was all that mattered to her.
In the end, Xendaya's skill & courage played a crucial role in the fall of the Empire. Her legacy as a skilled smuggler lived on long after the war ended, & she remained a hero to many across the galaxy.
Djan was born on a remote planet of the galaxy in a small village, where he led a humble life. During the tumultuous era of Order 66, tragedy struck his village. A lone Jedi Knight sought refuge in their community, seeking to escape from the Galactic Empire. Djan was a teenager and witnessed the Jedi's arrival.
Sadly, the Empire's relentless purge extended even to their village. In a swift and brutal attack, stormtroopers descended upon them, their blasters raining down destruction. The Jedi, valiantly attempting to protect the innocents, fought with the skill and grace that only a true Jedi could possess. However, overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and the dark side of the force that clouded the galaxy, the Jedi met his untimely demise. Little did he know how seeing that would shape his destiny.
Djan-Di would wander the galaxy, taking on odd jobs and aiding those who suffered under the tyranny of the Empire.
Dak Tahira was born in 29BBY on Corellia. He spent most of his youth with his friends at the beaches of the Gold Coast or on trips into the nearby mountains. When Chancellor Palpatine declared the Galactic Empire, everything changed. His parents moved to Dantooine and started a small farm. After a while, Dak started to enjoy his new freedom hunting or exploring the old crystal caves.
Shortly after his 16th birthday, his life got turned upside-down when bandits raided the farm and killed his parents. Shocked and without any idea for his future, Dak spent some time at the spaceport where he made a living by helping at the docks. After turning 18, Dak joined the army of the Empire to get off the planet. Thanks to his experiences in the wild, he finished the basic training in no time and was soon selected to join the Scout Trooper Corps.
In 9 BBY, his unit came across a settlement consisting of refugees from all sorts of planets. His group leader suspected a Jedi hiding among them, and when they refused to cooperate, he ordered the elimination of every single one. Devastated and disillusioned, Dak deserted from the Empire and swore to support the Rebellion wherever he can, without directly joining the fight, he had seen enough of it. Currently, Dak is working with his BD-1 droid “Hopper” as a smuggler and freelancer. He still supports the Rebellion by smuggling vital goods, people, and information to and from their hideouts, as well as taking part in direct action from time to time against the Empire, using the skills he learned there against it.
25 BBY: Birth on Oba Diah as a member of a semi-influential aristocratic family. 12 BBY: After a failed mission led by his father, his family were sent into exile. Finally, they found refuge on the edge of the western reaches. Far away from Oba Diah and beyond the reach of other Pyke families, they established a new home on Bakura. Initially, he and his father found work in a small mining company, while his mother attempted to find investors for their own family business. Interested parties were won over as trading partners with a few targeted promises, and so the company ‘Third Crossing’ was founded. The following years were spent cultivating trade relations and finding the right personnel and equipment for various contracts. The organisation grew, and with it its influence in politics on Bakura. However, fearing retaliation from the Pykes, the family kept a low profile as best they could. This meant that public appearances and high positions were out of the question. Their influence was therefore limited to behind-the-scenes activities and actions within the company. Occasionally, less legal contracts were accepted, but great importance was placed on maintaining good relations with the local authorities.
0 BBY Invasion: On the night of 36:1:1 the Imperials set foot on Bakura and members of the Senate were placed under house arrest. The tone got harsher, bribes got more expensive, and people grew more desperate. This was the period when the company had an increase in orders from a group called the ‘Bakuran Resistance.’ They paid well and did not ask questions, thus becoming valued business partners. Due to its subtle influence, the Empire did not initially focus its attention on the company, but as more and more political supporters broke before the Empire and switched sides, more and more signs pointed towards Third Crossing. After a while, the connection with the Resistance grew and shifted from a purely business relationship to a personal necessity.
